August Release Notes – Expanded Model Support, API Enhancements, and Improved Tooling

This release introduces multiple enhancements across API Manager, Conversation Manager, Console, Tools, and Insights. API Manager now supports new Google Chirp voices (Achernar, Callirrhoe, Umbriel, Vindemiatrix) and simplifies SDK setup by making the organization domain optional. Conversation Manager and Console gain support for Gemini 2.5 Flash and Flash Lite models. Tool creation is more robust, preventing unsupported root-level JSON fields, and a new SMS service enables one-off message sending. Insights improvements include proper rendering of complex tool arguments and SDK updates enabling filtering in the Tools List view for Insight Tools, enhancing usability and developer productivity across the platform.
