Dynamic Language Switching and First-Turn Language Fix

A new Agent setting that lets callers ask to switch languages mid-conversation, plus a voice-session fix so calls start in the configured default language instead of English.

This week's update to the Syllable Agentic Platform gives agent owners a Dynamic Language Switching setting so callers can ask to speak a different language at any point in a conversation, and fixes voice sessions so a configured Language Group starts in the voice group's default language instead of always defaulting to English.

  • Added a Dynamic Language Switching option as an Agent setting so callers can switch languages at any point in a conversation by asking naturally with a switch-language intent.
  • Configured voice sessions to start in the voice group's default language instead of always defaulting to English, so callers are greeted in the correct language from the very first turn on inbound and outbound calls.
