Release Note: Enhanced Role Management, Voicemail Detection, and Improved Tools

This release introduces significant enhancements across the platform. API Manager now allows more precise role management and advanced agent filtering. Channel Manager’s voicemail detection is improved for outbound campaigns, enabling seamless message delivery. The Console receives a dedicated page for file uploads and workflow analysis. New features in Tools include cost projections for tool calls, campaign deletion in the Outbounds UI, and easier session data access for Trial users. Additionally, default SHOWCASE agents are now available by default in all trial accounts.

API Manager

  • Added role endpoints to get, create, update, and delete user roles (collections of permissions).

  • Enhanced agent management by supporting multiple labels per agent and enabling filtering of agents by multiple labels via the agents endpoint in the SDK.

Channel Manager

  • Improved voicemail detection for outbound campaigns, allowing the system to automatically leave a message when a call is answered by voicemail instead of a live person.

Console

  • Introduced a new page for creating and uploading files to a folder, which can then be used for analysis within a workflow.

Tools

  • Insights - Added projection to estimate the cost of running a given tool call by using the last 30 days to calculate the average number and the duration of calls per day.

  • Outbounds - Added support for campaign deletion in the console UI.

  • Backfilled default SHOWCASE agents to make them available in existing trial accounts.
