This update resolves authentication issues to enable Gemini-powered Insights and introduces customizable timeouts for external Tools, ensuring long-running processes like session closures finish reliably. We've also automated agent voice selection and added Speech-to-Text fallbacks to maintain conversation stability during network fluctuations.

Conversation Manager

  • Improved Gemini connectivity by adding Google Vertex API authentication to Insights, resolving an issue that previously prevented the generation of automated summaries
  • Launched configurable timeout settings for external tools (adjustable between 1 and 120 seconds), allowing critical processes like session-end calls more time to complete
  • Implemented automated selection for the Agent's default voice by utilizing the first configured language within their assigned voice group
  • Enabled Responsive Dialogue fallback to Google Speech-to-Text v2 when connection issues occur with Deepgram, ensuring callers are always heard during Sessions

Console

  • Added webhook configuration to campaigns to allow for automated data updates on specific session statuses, featuring secure HMAC secret generation
