Bridge Phrases and Reliable Prompt Variables

This week's update to the Syllable Agentic Platform introduces Bridge Phrases so agents can fill the wait on a tool call with a natural spoken phrase, fixes prompt and tool variable references that were damaged on save, adds a fully uninterruptible greeting mode, makes insight reports retry instead of giving up, adds the OpenAI GPT-5.6 model family, and improves phone number purchase errors and transfer metadata options.

Agents

• Added Bridge Phrases so that agents can speak a short, natural phrase while waiting on a tool call instead of leaving silence, with creation, editing, duplication, localization, and tool-specific wording in the Console, default English and Spanish phrases for new organizations, and automatic assignment to new agents.

Prompts

• Fixed variable references containing underscores so that updating a prompt or a step tool no longer silently breaks them.
• Fixed tool variables inserted in the prompt editor so that they are kept when the prompt is saved.
• Added the OpenAI GPT-5.6 model family so that the three new models can be selected on prompts.

Messages

• Added a fully uninterruptible greeting mode so that a greeting plays in full before the agent starts listening, alongside the existing fully and partly interruptible modes.

Insights

• Fixed insight tools configured to use Anthropic models so that they run successfully.
• Fixed upload-based insight workflows, which analyze an uploaded file instead of a session, so that their results are saved after the analysis runs instead of failing to persist.

Sessions

• Added the override date and time to session detail so that testers can confirm which simulated time a chat or voice test used, and added a date and time override to the voice tester.

Channels

• Improved phone number purchase errors so that an unavailable search returns a clear message instead of a raw technical error.

Organization

• Fixed the starter resources for new sub-organizations and trial accounts so that their Showcase Agents and Prompts use the current default model configuration instead of an outdated copy.
