SMS Targets and Step Tool Duplication
Create SMS channel targets in the UI, duplicate Step Tool steps, and capture user transcripts for outbound campaign sessions that end before speech is recognized.
v26.7.7
Published: July 7, 2026
This week's update to the Syllable Agentic Platform adds SMS as a target mode for creating channel targets directly in the UI and a Duplicate action for Step Tools. It also captures user transcripts for outbound campaign sessions that end before speech is recognized, adds a distinct DECLINED status for carrier-rejected outbound calls, resolves a Sessions page crash on non-standard phone numbers, and continues to refine the redesigned Sessions page.
Sessions
- Refined the redesigned Sessions page with additional styling and review-feedback fixes so that the session timeline, latency chips, and tool details render more cleanly.
- Fixed the session details page crashing when opening sessions with non-standard phone number targets so that session details always load reliably.
- Fixed missing user transcripts on outbound campaign sessions that ended before a final utterance was recognized so that answering-machine messages, disconnected-number prompts, and other quick hangups are captured in the session record.
Tools
- Added a Duplicate action to Step Tools so that a step's configuration can be reused without rebuilding it from scratch.
Channels
- Added SMS as a mode option when creating a new target so that SMS channel targets can be created directly in the UI without API workarounds.
Campaigns
- Added a DECLINED channel manager status for outbound calls so that carrier-rejected calls are reported distinctly instead of being grouped under an undifferentiated FAILED status.
