Insight Workflow Validation, Voice Test Channel, and Prompt Editing

Made Insight workflows more resilient, kept the built-in Voice Test channel available, and preserved agent settings during prompt and tool editing.

Published: October 13, 2026

This week's update to the Syllable Agentic Platform now rejects empty allowed-value lists in Insight Tools and tells users how to correct them, preventing workflow execution failures. It protects the built-in Syllable Voice Test channel from renaming so agents can be created and duplicated reliably, preserves each agent's session-end tool settings when prompts are saved, and keeps tool-configuration panels open in the Agent editor while users change values.

Agents

  • Kept tool-configuration panels open in the Agent editor while users type, so they can change values without reopening the panel after each keystroke.

Insights

  • Rejected empty allowed-value lists in Insight Tools and guided users to add allowed values or remove the restriction, preventing workflow runs from failing during execution.

Prompts

  • Preserved each agent's session-end tool settings when prompts were saved, so a routine prompt edit no longer clears an agent's override.

Channels

  • Protected the built-in Syllable Voice Test channel from renaming through the interface and API, so users can still create and duplicate agents.
